The Situation
A specialized cancer care organization was expanding outpatient services beyond its primary campus. The opportunity required more than identifying attractive markets; it required proving feasibility and then translating a business plan into functioning outpatient operations.
What We Did
In a senior business development and network operations role, Sheila developed the feasibility analysis and business plans for new ambulatory cancer centers and then stayed with the initiative through implementation — design, budgeting, construction management, IT systems and startup operations.
The Outcome
- The new ambulatory cancer centers were developed and launched, expanding the organization's outpatient footprint.
Why It Matters
The distance between strategy and results is execution.
The person who can identify the opportunity isn't necessarily the person who can build it. Cenergy's approach is to think through the entire path from decision to implementation.
